Objectives:

With partners from across Europe, AgeingWell aims to address the unique challenges faced by older adults and promote active ageing. Through innovative research, training programs, and policy advocacy, the project seeks to empower elderly individuals, caregivers, and communities to support healthy ageing and positive mental health outcomes. By fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange, the project consortium is working towards creating inclusive environments where older adults can thrive.

Results:

  1. Positive Ageing Toolkit: offer invaluable insights, practical tips, and resources to empower individuals aged 65 and above in enhancing their psychological resilience, social engagement, and overall well-being. Tailored specifically for older adults, it will provide a diverse array of strategies and tools adaptable to various needs, cultural backgrounds, and social contexts. Caregivers and trainers working with the elderly will also find the toolkit invaluable, as it equips them with skills to enhance their own well-being, foster resilience, and forge positive connections with older individuals.
  2. Training program for Caregivers and Adult Educators: it will present a great opportunity to empower professionals with the knowledge and skills essential for enhancing the wellbeing and active ageing of the elderly. Grounded in the principles of positive psychology, this comprehensive program will offer a dynamic learning experience tailored to address the multifaceted challenges encountered by caregivers. Through meticulously crafted modules and interactive sessions, participants will delve into practical strategies aimed at fostering effective communication, cultivating empathy, and instilling positive transformations in the lives of older adults.
  3. Training course for 65+ adults and eLearning space: it is set to embark on a transformative journey, aligning with our core project objectives to empower older adults aged 65 and above, enhancing their health, wellbeing, and societal engagement. At the heart of this initiative lies the creation of an innovative eLearning space, tailored to equip the elderly with essential digital skills, fostering connectivity and combatting feelings of isolation.
