Kick-off Meeting 10.-11.12.2009 Berlin, Germany


Minutes

Kickoff meeting took place in Berlin (attendance list in attachment).

General Info: Each partner received an access to partner platform moodle. http://moodle.ebg.de/moodle/login/index.php?lang=en

All documents are to down- and upload on the platform.  The main communication, discussion, suggestions and common work among partners will occur on forums. Partners are required to visit regularly the platform in order to use this tool to share and produce project activity together with all partners.

 

1) Short presentation / introduction of partners and their activities (see presentations on moodle)

2) Project presentation (see PowerPoint presentation on moodle) incl. WP tasks, schedules and responsibilities of partners. The WP leaders are moderating the activities. Their responsibilities in close cooperation with the coordinator are:

ü  Moderation of WP activity

ü  Creation of templates how, when, what to deliever

ü  Gathering information for documents and reports

ü  Coordinating partners inputs

ü  Monitoring deadlines

3) e-commerce solutions (see presentation on moodle). The existing software is mostly for goods and not services as foreseen for Bazaar. The software is to modify for the demands of the project:

-suggestions for the domain name: www.mybazaar.eu or www.eu-bazaar.eu,

-each country a separate bazaar (due to the local services and languages) but some branches like tourisms or goods can be offered at eu-bazaar for all costumers.

-A logo for bazaar (suggestions of partners)

- Mr. Czekalla will develop a template (Questionnaire) in order to constitute the design and technique of  the bazaar webshop in accordance of needs and capacities of partners and their target groups.

4) e-commerce course of EBG (on moodle)

The course must be modified in accordance to the needs and lCT levels of the target groups in each country. Each partner decides which parts are likely to overtake and/or shorten for a course.

5) Next partner meeting and disseminations workshop will take place in Paris. 13.4. arrival, joining the show Emploi des seniors”  , 14.4. Bazaar external workshop, 15.4. partner meeting until noon 16.4. (1,5 days), afternoon departure (official end of Bazaar project activity)

The show called “Emploi des seniors” (http://www.salon-emploiseniors.com/)  is  about “seniors and jobs/work opportunities.  During the show there will be several conferences and we will organize one of them. In our conference cycle,  both the partners from the ECom45+ Grundtvig learning partnership and  the partners of  the E-Bazaar  multilateral project are going to make presentations.

For the first group the subjects will be around :

- the state of the art of seniors employment in several European countries

- the local governmental solutions to seniors unemployment

For  the e-Bazaar group, the idea will be to present the project as an example of social economy and solidarity and  a  solution for those who want to try some entrepreneurial adventure for selling services or products  but also , for each partner to speak about the provisional local partners, who are likely to be the future entrepreneurs in partner countries and a first analysis of what services or goods they might offer.

6) Dissemination WP leader UNITS

Dissemination strategy: There will be an overall dissemination strategy and there will be a national dissemination plan.

b)Bazaar will produce two flyers: One official project flyer with main info about project and partners and how to contact them (EBG is delivering the content). Concerning the design partners make suggestions about layout logo, colour etc.. The Flyer will be translated in each partner language and printed and distributed in resp. countries.

Additional each partner organisation will prepare to invite and attract its target group and local activities: info days, courses, network partners, bazaar..

c) official project website as a part of webshop and linked with it (as a subdomain?) in partner languages. Mr. Czekalla will develop a draft version and ask partners for their suggestions.

d) Dialog platform: network of partners with regard to the project topic. Partners invite relevant stakeholders to the dialog platform /advisory board. A list of participants, organisations and their involvement/interest/feedback/integration of project activities will be documented.

 

7) Administrative and financial issues (see presentation Baykan)

All partners make sure that all documents, invoices, receipts, boarding cards, pay slips, employee contracts etc.  will be saved; the originals will be kept by you copies signed by your legal representative will be send to the coordinator (Baykan EBG).

Interim report deadline 30.11.2010

All documents concerning project are to save 15 years for a probably audit by EACEA

 

The contracts will be prepared after partners send their bank accounts, IBAN, BIC etc..

After partners send the signed Originals of the contract to EBG the first rate (40% of the funding) will be transferred.

 

Next steps

WP 2 to be finished until the meeting in Paris (leader MEM)

(WP 1, WP 6 Leader EBG and WP 3 Leader UNITS during the whole project duration)

Tasks:

1)       Who are likely to be the future entrepreneurs in partner countries? Specific needs of this target groups, how to attract them (strategy, acquisition), (Synergies among partners)

2)       Feasibility analysis which services or goods are likely to be placed on the local or European market in order to be successful and earn money.

3)       Constitution of dialog platform/advisory board

4)       which resources are there (existing) concerning ICT courses, counselling target group for self employment (synergies)

5)       Making our mind how to design the bazaar incl. future commercialisation with a head/management unit, rights…

6)       Which parts of e-commerce course should be implemented (decision for each organisation)

7)       Dissemination strategy and materials (website, flyers)
