Short summary:
Older workers, which is an underrepresented group in the field of remote
working, often face difficulties in taking advantage of the new information and
communication technologies, as they have neither grown up with them, nor have
they received any introductory education or training. The “TeleGrow”
project aims to enhance their digital skills in particular their teleworking
digital skills.
Main goals:
- Offer innovative training system, promoting
both the online distance learning and the overall enhancement of digital
skills, required for teleworking
-Pinpoint the national frameworks on teleworking and contribute to the overall
EU effort on promoting telework
- Offer educational tips and methods to VET
(Vocational Education and Training) Trainers in order to engage older employees
into the learning process and (re-)train them efficiently
- Highlight the importance of balancing life
and work and provide solutions to VET learners in order to maintain their well-being,
both physically and mentally
